i thought fairy tail in its entirety was solid. with regard to the anime, i felt the second half was inferior to the first but yeah i still enjoyed it for the most part. imo it just got more and more repetitive as the story progressed (natsu and co overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges with the power of friendship ad nauseum). this is a common criticism of fairy tail, and one that i believe to be 100% valid. even though you know what's gonna happen like 95% of the time, you can't help but cheer the gang on! the strongest aspect of fairy tail for me are the characters! i especially love lucy, she's so goofy and adorable 😹😹😹 erza is badass, natsu is pretty funny, gray is awesome, and wendy might just be the most wholesome anime character ever! i do consider myself a fan of the series, so yes i'm planning to read the manga in the near future :)

Ooo I havent seen eyeshield21 yet but it has been in my plan to watch list for a long time so I will for sure watch this soon since I did really like kenichi, it was so much fun
