Fool’s Gold becomes very possessive of Alice whenever they’re in the same game. Over time, the other survivors (especially the harasser types) learned that it was wiser to just let Alice distract Norton while they work on getting the cipher machines done. Alice also prefers this game strategy when they go up against Fool’s Gold as it leads to less damage and it soothes Norton’s otherwise troubled hunter mind. It doesn’t always work though; sometimes Fool’s Gold just wants to hunt everyone down before he settles down with Alice.
However, things get rather chaotic whenever a newcomer enters the manor and doesn’t heed the unspoken rule of leaving Alice and Norton alone. They practically become a prime target to Fool’s Gold’s wrath for many matches to come.
Mine!
A NortAlice oneshot
Alice sighed as her radio went crazy with pings from Freddy Riley, who was busy containing the hunter. Alice usually appreciated getting pings, it helped her know where she needed to be and who needed help. But in a match like this, against Fool’s Gold, Freddy didn’t want aid. He wanted another easy win.
”Help me! Journalist ping your location! Help me! HELP ME!!!!” Alice sighed as she pinged the cipher she was currently working on. A few moments later, she felt the pickaxe fly by behind her.
“Treasure!!” Fools gold suddenly cheered as he pulled himself toward her. Alice couldn’t help but smile as the puppy coded hunter sat next to her. “I was looking for you everywhere! I wanted to use the guy with the weird teeth to bring you to me but I found you!”
”It seems you have.” Alice chuckled as she continued decoding. Fools gold continued to be silly around the journalist. Placing stickers on the cipher machine and giving her head pats.
”You’re quite affectionate today hm? Something good happen lately?” Alice mused.
”You’re here.” The hunter smiled, causing Alice to smile as well.
”Are you planning something?” She poked the hunter as she finished the cipher.
”Whoever said such a thing?” The hunter snorted as he stood, throwing his pick over his shoulder. “Well, I guess we could go have some fun in-“
Suddenly, a blur of red came between Alice and the hunter. She gasped as she felt someone take her hand and pull her away. Looking up, she saw the newest member of the Oletus manor. Alice felt her stomach drop as the matador dragged her away.
”Mr Romero, what are you-“
”Don’t worry Ms Journalist! I am simply aiding in your escape. Leave the rest to me.” He said with a charming smile. Alice pulled away from the Matador.
”Wait, Mr Romero you don’t understand-“ Before Alice could explain, the ground shook violently and the hunter came around the corner.
”Hey, what the fuck do you think you’re doing?” He growled, angry and menacing. Like the silly demeanor from earlier had never existed. Hernando stood protectively between Alice and Fool’s. A large grin on his face.
”And so it begins.” He flared the muleta he carried dramatically. “Run Seniorita! I will deal with this beast!”
“Hernando wait-!” Alice had no time to speak as the matador charged at Fool’s. The hunter went to swing at the new survivor, but was instead pushed back while Hernando dashed toward a kiting area. And of course, the hunter followed, blinded by rage. Alice sighed as she facepalmed. This was going to be a long game.

Fool’s gold finally managed to catch the new survivor, shoving him in a chair with excess force. Hernando coughed and groaned.
”Haha, you are quite the angry one huh?” Fools smacked the chair.
”Shut up! This is what you get for taking my treasure!”
”Treasure?” Hernando arched his brow.
”I was trying to tell you.” Alice sighed as she approached the chair. Hernando’s eyes widened as he saw the journalist approach.
”Ms Journalist, get away from here! The hunter will-!”
”Treasure! Don’t rescue him!” Fool’s gold pleaded, dropping to his knees before the journalist. “He doesn’t deserve to be rescued by you!”
”Pyrite please, calm down.” Alice sighed as the hunter buried his face in her shoulder. Hernando sat in the chair staring at the pair with complete utter confusion.
”Im… Sorry, what is going on here?” He asked. Alice turned her head to the chaired survivor.
”Pyrite and I are in a relationship. So it’s an unwritten rule for all survivors to not bother us if we’re in a match together.” Hernando stared at Alice long and hard.
”And he doesn’t hurt you?” He then muttered, still trying to wrap his head around the whole concept.
”No, he doesn’t.” Alice confirmed. Hernando sat silently as he processed everything.
”If you’re just hoping to distract him the entire time, then what is the point of this game? It’s no fun simply standing around while you do… Whatever it is.” Fools gold straightened up slightly, glaring at Hernando. But before the hunter could do anything else, Alice pulled him back down by his scarf.
”It may be strange to you. But you’ll get used to it… eventually.” Alice shrugged. Hernando sighed, head lolling to the side.
”This place is possibly the strangest to exist in this world.” Alice then went to free Hernando, chuckling at his familiar words.
”Again, you get used to it.” As she touched the chair, Hernando snapped back upright.
”Oh no, don’t bother freeing me Ms Journalist! I want to know the thrill of these… What are they called? Rocket chairs?” Alice arched her brow.
”You sure?”
”Yes Ma’am.”
”Good, because I would have let you go far anyway.” Fools gold said as he picked Alice up. “Come on treasure, let’s go to the gate.”
”Ok ok. See you back at the manor Mr Romero.”
”But of course Ms Journalist.” Hernando said with a charming smile and a wink. Fools gold huffed as he turned on his heel and made his way to the gate, Alice still in his arms.
”I don’t like that guy.” He growls. Alice sighed and shook her head, leaning on him.
”Oh Pyrite.”
