Sometimes people who need help might try to conceal their struggles and not openly ask for assistance. It's important to remember that everyone faces challenges at different points in their lives, and some individuals may feel hesitant or ashamed to ask for help.

SOS!
Black
Incorporating the "sos" symbol, I aim to highlight the distress signal of those being consumed by the darkness of mental illness, underscoring the urgent need for understanding and support for those struggling with these issues.

Help
Pink
The "help" symbol on my artwork represents the silent cries for help from those who suffer in the shadows of mental illness, where the outward facade of vibrancy and color can mask the inner riot that rages within.

Sad Emojis
Yellow/Orange
The sad emojis in the artwork are a reminder of hidden sadness behind forced happiness and societal expectations. The vibrant emojis transformed into melancholic expressions reflect the emotional struggles beneath the surface.

Crying eye
Green
The crying eye symbolizes the raw emotion and vulnerability that comes with allowing oneself to truly feel and express sadness. Its presence in the artwork is a tribute to the bravery and strength that it takes to confront and process difficult emotions, even when doing so feels overwhelming or isolating.

Butterfly
Black
In the artwork, the butterfly serves as a haunting symbol of the fragility and fleetingness of life, evoking a sense of both beauty and tragedy. The juxtaposition of its delicate, colorful wings against its darker symbolism speaks to the complexity of the human experience, where joy and sorrow often exist in close proximity. The inclusion of the butterfly as a representation of death is a reminder that the human experience is not only defined by happiness and hope, but also by loss and grief.

Broken heart
Red
The broken heart symbol represents the raw and intense pain that can come from heartbreak, whether it be from a lost love or shattered dreams. It serves as a powerful reminder that while the exterior may appear vibrant and colorful, the interior emotional landscape can be fraught with darkness and despair. The jagged, broken lines of the heart also serve as a visual metaphor for the shattered pieces of one's emotional being, reminding us that the process of healing and recovery can be a difficult and ongoing journey.

Stuck
Lilac
In this artwork, "Stuck" symbolizes the haunting feeling of being entrapped within one's own thoughts, where negative patterns loop relentlessly, creating a sense of mental stagnation. It extends to the sensation of being stuck in life, spiraling into a state of depression.

Flaming 666
Orange
the "Flame with 666" represents the dual nature of the human psyche. The flame signifies the inner fire that burns within us, symbolizing passion, creativity, and the intensity of our emotions. Amidst the flames, the inclusion of "666" alludes to the darker aspects of our nature, the moments when we grapple with our inner demons and allow our less benevolent traits to surface.

Butterfly
White
The butterfly's wings hide a chilling secret - a demonic skull emerges, a reminder of death's shadow. This symbol delves into life's complexity, where hope and darkness coexist. It unveils the ceaseless dance between life's fragility and the looming specter of death.

Cross
Black/White
the cross represents the universal symbol of death, commonly used to represent a passing. It serves as a poignant reminder of life's ultimate conclusion and the enduring shadow of mortality that affects us all. This symbol embodies the solemnity and gravity of human existence.

Snake
Green
The snake, in this context, symbolizes the presence of deceptive individuals in one's life. Just as a serpent hides its true intentions, these fake acquaintances conceal their true natures. This symbol serves as a reminder of the need for discernment and caution in navigating complex relationships and human interactions.

Tribal & tear tattoo
Blue
the tribal and tear drop tattoos tell a story of life-defining choices. Like ink etched on skin, they serve as indelible reminders of moments that shaped one's journey. Just as these markings endure, significant decisions, whether as conspicuous as facial tattoos or as subtle as removing certain people from one's life, leave an indomitable imprint on one's path.

Blood
Red
In this artwork, the image of blood gushing from the head represents the never-ending overthinking that often troubles those dealing with mental health issues. It vividly shows the constant flow of thoughts that flood the mind, like an overwhelming river.

This image captures the feeling of overthinking, where an abundance of thoughts can lead to mental and emotional turmoil. It's a clear picture of the internal chaos many experience, a never-ending cycle of self-reflection that can feel overpowering.

The symbol's starkness conveys the seriousness of overthinking, highlighting how it can overwhelm a person's thoughts. It reminds us of the daily challenges faced by those with mental health issues, revealing the enduring nature of their struggles. The blood is a visceral representation of the emotional toll of overthinking, a powerful visual story of the storm within.
