Podget is a simple podcast aggregator optimized for running as a scheduled background job (i.e. cron), with support for categories & folders, importing servers from OPML lists & iTunes PCAST files, exporting an OPML file, automatic playlist creation and cleanup. Updated in Version 0.8 on June5, 2016 to include support for ATOM feeds in additions to RSS feeds. As of Nov 9, 2015 the CVS hosted by Sourceforge will no longer be updated. The last version to be uploaded into the CVS was version 0.7.9. I've moved the development files to Git and they are accessible at: https://github.com/dvehrs/podget I will continue to post release versions here so feel free to download them! -

A multi-threaded, multi-database tcp-based database insertion app.
...The back-end daemon accepts data from Syslogd2 or its own client and inserts that data (and envelope information) into one or more databases using MySql client library or dbi drivers (also on SourceForge). The client needs no configuration (all input is via command-line). It is intended for hosts to make database entries without needing database client or interface code. Syslogd2 integration allows DBD2 to act as Syslogd2's database back-end for MySql and other databases supported by the dbi drivers. Original purpose was to track Linux cluster job status but other uses exist. -

The idea is to create a simple CMS that integrates SourceForge REST services so it is up to date automatically. Just set a couple of values in the configuration file, upload to SourceForge web directory, set write permissions to the cache directory and enjoy. You'll be able to customize the site just creating a CSS file and modifying a few configuration values. Right now it is in a very early development status so there's very little you can see. -
