This recommendation was because the i7 creates many pops and clicks in the audio because of the cores turning on and off very quickly. I install the PPM product and followed the instructions as to what to disable and it works just fine in clearing up the audio problem but I notice that my windows 10 task manager shows 100% cpu usage when running.
