"Great design program" Posted 2023-04-21
Pros: Relative ease of use to get started. Lots of training modules to help with more advanced designs. Customer service is always ready to help with any issues I may have.
Cons: Crashes too often, could be a computer problem. Some features that I feel are basic are missing from the program. Setting a bottom alignment for the upper cabinets vs setting a top alignment, Getting a box count for freight costs and being able to customize the reports a little more. Overall, I really enjoy working with the program and look forward to learning how to do more with it.
Overall: Best kitchen design program on the market. Excellent customer service and great online training available.

"2020 Design Live review" Posted 2023-04-20
Pros: Comfortable with it. You get use to somethings after a while using it for so long. But, for what it cost not worth the money.
Cons: My 20/20 program keeps closing without warning. I really was only impressed with 20/20 at the beginning. Now, not so much.
Overall: Okay, too expensive for the benefits. When I call for help I have been told I am not signed up for certain things. So what does my 1000.00 really get me.

"2020 Easy to use!" Posted 2023-04-19
Pros: Easy to use!
The UI is user friendly and customizable to your personal work flow. Saving templates for future reference is an excellent way to get started. When filling in items which your clients may want to see varied colors, you can group items to change all of the groups color at once which is excellent.
Customer service is excellent.
Online trainings are available at your pace.
Good community: Many folks help the community out by posting tips and tricks on youtube.Cons: Cant seem to find hotkeys to make work ultra efficient.
Bit expensive upfront.Overall: Wonderful! While new to this software, only two weeks in, I am live designing in front of clients who are very impressed with me, when really, the credit goes to 2020.

"2020 review" Posted 2023-04-19
Pros: The 2020 software is relatively easy to use and navigate. It is great at representing 2D and 3D designs.
Cons: The software crashes/lags often and the cloud browser only sometimes works.
Overall: Overall, 2020 is a great software for kitchen design. The software can sometimes be limited due to file size, making the program crash or lag.

"Great tool but frustrating at times" Posted 2023-04-19
Pros: Easy to design with as far as creating floor plans, elevations and perspectives. Easy to access the help center and support.
Cons: I have trouble when creating the color perspectives. Depending on the colors in the design the EZ Render sometimes works great…but with lighter colors it seems everything gets washed out. It seems that you have to add lighting or manipulate the design in other ways to get it to look right.
Overall: I have never used anything but 20/20 so I cannot compare it to other programs. I think because I have used it awhile and am older change is hard. Going to 20/20 live was easy but it is more technical and I am not of that “techno” age group in which it comes easy.

"2020 my thoughts" Posted 2023-04-19
Pros: It's an easy program to learn to use. I have been using it for several years and they are always updating it!
The 2020 support is amazing. Very helpful and kind.
The Cloud has more items to use to make your designs come to life.Cons: The lighting still is not up to par. It should be more like Chef Architect where the lighting is perfect and realistic every time.
Some of the appliances in the Cloud are corrupt and or don't show the correct coloring in the plans as they do in the Cloud when I select them.Overall: I love working on 2020. My biggest problem is the lighting not being up to industry standards. Using the Cloud to get appliances has been a big help but someone needs to fix the corrupt ones and the ones where the coloring isn't correct.

"2020 Design Live review" Edited 2023-04-22
Pros: It is familiar, I've been using 2020 for over 20 years, drawing walls, windows and doors is easier than auto cad, and some other programs. The cabinetry is vender specific which makes it easy to draw cabinetry-drag and drop.
Cons: This is cabinetry specific software. Cabinetry for kitchens belong in kitchen remodels but this program requires secondary programs to create realistic plans due to lack of symbols, design elements and textures. But the more decorations the slower the program no matter how good your computer is because of the program. I thought it was a computer issue and spent several thousand dollars getting a computer build and it still performs this way. 2020 has always been glitchy. They always work on fixing the cool "sellable" features but don't fix the small glitchy issues the users have to deal with on a daily basis.
Overall: I use 2020 because I have a lot of time invested in using it. If 2020 could be made to be the one program that I could use and not have to invest in multiple programs to do my job, 2020 would be priceless and the "go-to" software for everyone in the industry.

"Less than a year" Posted 2023-04-18
Pros: When I get more time with this, I see potential for good renderings if needed after I take time to set up preferences, mainly dimensions and schemes.
Cons: The elevations and floor plans should be side by side not stacked. Monitors are horizontal.
On floor plan, you can't hide a layer to reach a layer below. You have to move everything.
Moving groupings-- Suggest something like, hold shift key to select items to move, and let go. As is now, I have to select group, then right click >group, then move, then right click >ungroup. A lot of clicking if I don't want to keep group for long haul.
In Presentations, setting up title block, I'd like use different size fonts.
Would like use of ruler guides.Overall: As mentioned in Pro, I need to put more into learning the program. I have used Pro Kitchen, and found it more user friendly. I used to be a graphic designer on Mac, which is user-friendly. Quicker steps to get things done. This program is more rigid, but I personally need more time into it.

"A Kitchen Designers best friend" Posted 2023-04-18
Pros: The rendering capabilities enable designers to show clients a clear picture of what their space could be.
The symbols available are useful for making almost all schematics.
The tools are clearly laid out and very intuitive.
The program and objects available within allow you to create almost any structure in 3D that a client could want to see.Cons: There are limited additional items available in the Cloud. The items that are available, are not always able to be manipulated into the desired format.
I dislike being unable to use these features when disconnected to the internet.Overall: I use 2020 Design Live every day. It's an invaluable tool for Kitchen Designers. After you get the hang of the program it is an efficient and wonderful way to design a space.

"2020 Design Live" Posted 2023-04-18
Pros: Love the textured pictures. They almost look like a picture when i present them to my customers. I also like that you can now do walls at more angles when drawing rooms. That was a huge improvement.
Cons: If i had a complaint it would be only one. Sometimes if my walls are not 100% straight with out realizing they will have a jog, and then my cabinets wont set on them, i have to drag them over from a blank space on the page.
Overall: Overall i like the new Design Live. I use it almost daily and have enjoyed the ease of use, as well as accessibility of cloud items to make the perfect kitchen design.

"Happy 2020 User" Posted 2023-04-18
Pros: I have used 2020 for years. I appreciate the live version with its added features - online browser, freedom to use the program where I am - no key, and faster rendering.
Cons: Right hand corner with close the page and close the program X so close together - it is my habit to go there to close the page and it is easy to hit the close the program X. Easy to move too fast and cause the program to shut down.
Overall: Overall happy w/ 2020. Learning new tools is time consuming and for me not intuitive. I have used the learning center and added to my tool chest - but I find my self returning to the features that are ingrained when the work load piles up.

Cons: Intimidating at first but once I got talking to someone, everything went smooth!

"Crashing Problems" Edited 2023-04-20
Pros: Pricing kitchens and viewing options for clients are the best assets of 2020.
Also ordering in multiple colors is best in 2020, it is hard to make a mistake.
Ordering is also easy transferring to order processing.Cons: My computer is fully capable and the storage is not full, I have IT and 20-20 always confirm it is up to date. It always crashes and won't let me sign back in.
Sometimes I am so frustrated I walk away and don't get pending work done.
Other times I call and get assistance from 2020, but I hate to do that because I have to reset all of my settings including taxes.Overall: I have been working with 2020 since the very beginning and I have to say that the LIVE is not a benefit, I liked the proficiency of the old key. Sign in was never a problem.

"2020 DESIGN LIVE "MY BEST FRIEND"" Posted 2023-04-18
Pros: I'm very happy using 2020 Design Live to create my works of art. I love the customer support when needed, and how I get use manufacturers catalogs to make ordering simple and fast. Also, love that I can use SketchUp to bring in other items to make the renderings look realistic.
Cons: Not a big fan of the Flex Closet system. I currently use Mozaik for my closet jobs.
Overall: Big fan of 2020 Design Live, and happy with the product and the service! I use the software daily, and even though I handle much more than just designing as my job, being creative and designing with 2020 is my favorite part of the day.

"Independent Designer" Posted 2023-04-18
Pros: Commitment to continual improvement. As an industry-standard design software, I am able to work with all cabinet lines/companies as needed.
Cons: The Cloud-based items do not import when I am working in areas with Wi-Fi . I would like to be able to increase font size in the dialogue boxes, most are too tiny to read clearly. It's a lot of program for a new user.
Overall: User since 2005. Still learn new tricks every week. Product has the flexibility I need for design work outside of the standard 3-wall kitchen or simple bathroom. Confident is will continue to introduce innovative features that make design and ordering faster, more efficient, and beautiful.
