Pros: The concept is strong. It helps track brand visibility across AI platforms and analyze prompt-level insights.
When it works, the dashboards are clear and the reporting features are genuinely helpful.
The idea is innovative and useful for companies trying to measure AI search visibility.

Cons: Unfortunately, the execution doesn’t match the promise.
• Every plan upgrade re-creates deleted prompts, duplicates existing ones, and messes up tracking. For us, it happened 3 times over a month with no resolution from Profound's team.
• The platform is slow — sometimes 10–15 seconds to load basic sections.
• The Watch URL tab doesn’t update or delete links correctly.
• After the most recent upgrade, billing failed multiple times despite sufficient funds and us being in contact with their support while trying to identify the problem, yet our account was still frozen.
• Support replies are slow and disconnected, with poor internal handoff. Each time you reach a new agent via chat, they are unaware of previous issues.

Overall: Profound feels over-marketed for its actual stability. Why?
1. The same technical bug appeared three times in one month, performance has degraded, and billing problems froze our account.
2. Support can take a week to respond and doesn’t always follow through.
3. For a premium-priced platform, the engineering reliability and customer service fall short.

It’s an ambitious product solving a real need — tracking brand performance in AI search — but right now it’s too fragile and inconsistent to depend on for daily work.

Pros: As someone monitoring AI usage across our team, Profound has been a lifesaver. The Conversation Explorer feature is absolutely great - it lets me see exactly how people are talking with ChatGPT and spot patterns I'd never notice otherwise. The dashboard visualizes everything clearly, making reporting to management painless. Integration with our existing tools was surprisingly easy.

Cons: Setting up some of the advanced tracking features wasn't intuitive at first.

Overall: Profound has transformed how we monitor AI search engines. The Conversation Explorer alone is worth the price. Their support team responds quickly, and they regularly add features based on user feedback. I wouldn't want to track our AI tools without it.
