the story and character development in this game is perfect. I love the interactions. The puzzles aren't overly impossible or brain busters. Perfect balance. I won't spoil anything but the ending had me a little bit teared up. Def. worth the price of admission.

yeah it's alright.

After the initial hump of the tutorial levels this game flies. Silky smooth. Your only real challenge is your own inability to control yourself. Excellent physics. Explosions and shards of glass or debris don't get in the way of the action. Excellent soundtrack. Solid and enjoyable visuals. I think you can do it, player, without the use of slomo. Def a game I want to 100%

A hag like crusty old vtuber named VividlyVivi talked about how amazing this game is. Ig definitely helps me get through my work day. Cute music. As a fan of pixel art I'm definitely enamored with the visuals. I could probably run this off a floppy diskette on my old AMD 386 clone.

It's harmless joyful fun

Yeah it looks good and plays well with a controller. the plot feels middling at times but i like the human element to the super-hero in a sense. There were some issues with the FSR and what not but overall an enjoyable game. Right up there with arkham series for combat that makes you feel like a god. This game's combat system is akin to bringing 500 bucks to a dollar store. you are the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ chosen one. Matrix moves, strange web fluids, and an overly quippy protag. It nails everything.

one point off for no Paul but this was before his time. I swear to god Paul better be the damn main villain mastermind in the sequel.

Kick, punch it's all in the mind.
The amount of dynamic carnage on display is genuinely impressive. You learn patterns and then get your guts stuffed and ripped out because you mess up a drop kick.
Over all it's a beautiful looking game. I've had a few jank graphical issues with lockers. They try hard to make you care about the characters but other than A boy the only thing i care about is the durability of a weapon i'm holding.
Bows are OP.
The scale though. it feels like a second generation take from The Following. Very far departed from the original in it's design. Same paint but new mechanics. I don' tknow how to describe it. it's the verticality of it all. Definitely worth the time i've put into it.

a lot of ♥♥♥♥ jokes. a lot of gore. some graphical glitches but they dont' take away from the gameplay at all. give it a ride.

The single best solo campaign ever crafted. Gosh darn i cannot find fault with it. Story isn't anything special but the interaction between BT & Cooper is just the best.

MP is varied but you will often feel like you're being outplayed by even a 3 stack squad. Sniping isn't the best which is great as a counter balance to the run & gun design. Maps are built with verticality in mind. There are a few stand outs for titan battles too.

no dlc aside from like cosmetics. what more do you want? Pick this game up and find the gem that got slept on b/c of it's awful original release date.
