Collaborate with families
The About Me feature gives you the opportunity to learn a bit more about the children in your setting.
You can use the pre-made questions on Tapestry, or add your own custom ones, to make sure you have all the information you need to support the children throughout their time with you.
You can fill this page in yourself in collaboration with the child and their family or you can ask parents and carers to fill it in themselves; this might also help with getting them familiarised with Tapestry.
💡Top tip
The About Me page is only accessible through the browser version of Tapestry.
If you’re planning to ask parents to complete the About Me for their child, remind them to log in via an internet browser first.
Support parents
You can control whether a child’s About Me page is visible to relatives and carers and set your permissions so that families can answer the About Me questions themselves.Â
