SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Thank You Teacher Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) starts at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on June 17, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 17, 2025 (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes Period consists of two (2) separate entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”), as follows:
Entry Period 1 begins at 10:00 a.m. ET on June 17, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on July 31, 2025.
Entry Period 2 begins at 12:00 a.m. ET on August 1, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 17, 2025.
ELIGIBILITY: Nominators (defined below) must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, and eighteen (18) years of age or older as of date of entry. Nominees (defined below) must be legal United States residents, residing in one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, eighteen (18) years of age or older as of date of entry, who are current or former teachers of children in grades K-12 (excluding home school teachers). Employees of PIM Brands, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (“Administrator”), Crayola LLC and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies (collectively, “Sponsor and its Administrators”), and its affiliates and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, assigns, and agents, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, Nominators may enter the Sweepstakes for their Nominee by visiting thankyouteachersweepstakes.com (“Site”) and completing the online entry form, including nominating their favorite teacher (“Nominee” or “Teacher”) who has made a difference in their life by submitting in English [500 characters (including spaces) or less] to receive one (1) entry (“Entry”) for their Nominee/School into the Grand Prize random drawing as well as the corresponding Entry Period’s random drawing only. Entries will not carry forward to subsequent Entry Period, if any. Entries will not be judged.
Limit two (2) Entries per Nominator. Entries in excess of that limit will be disqualified. The person uploading the Entry will be deemed the nominator (“Nominator”). In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Nominator, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the Nominator. “Authorized account holder” of an email address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or business, educational, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any Entry not in compliance with the above and which does not meet the other requirements of these Official Rules will be disqualified. Participation is subject to disqualification of all Entries, if Sponsor and its Administrators discover that multiple email accounts are used by the same person. As applicable, normal Internet/phone access and usage/data charges imposed by Nominators’ online/mobile service will apply.
All Entries must comply with the below Entry Requirements to be eligible. Any Entry that violates this section or is otherwise objectionable (as determined solely by Sponsor), will be disqualified.
Entry Requirements:
Entry must be your original work (use of AI or modification of an original work is not an original work). Entries must not copy or otherwise plagiarize from any source.
The Entry must not have been submitted previously in a sweepstakes, contest, or promotion of any kind or previously exhibited or displayed publicly (i.e., disclosed beyond your immediate circle of friends and family) through any means.
Any Entry deemed inappropriate or unsuitable, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be disqualified. Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent (including, but not limited to, pornography, profane, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, libelous (including words that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group), violent, self-mutilating (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), or illegal (e.g., underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.).
The Entry must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination, including without limitation, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. The Entry must not contain material that is threatening to any person, place, business, group, or world peace or contain words that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group.
The Entry must not contain any content that infringes or may infringe third party rights, including, without limitation, any copyright, name, trademark, or other personal or proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity or make reference to any commercial/corporate advertising (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names, charities, slogans, political, or religious statements), or be otherwise objectionable. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, publicly displayed and publicly accessible Sponsor content, materials, or products are permitted to be used in Entries submitted for this Sweepstakes.
The Entry must not include any representation of celebrities, athletes, musicians, or any other third-party (public or private), include any anti-social, political or religious groups, any commercial solicitation or promotional materials or name, address, phone number, or URL address. Entries must not contain advertisements, personal solicitations or commercial solicitations.
AI, automated, script, macro or robotic Entries will be disqualified.
Entrants and all submitted Entries must be in keeping with Sponsor's image as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, or Entry may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. The Entry must not disparage Sponsor or persons or organizations associated with Sponsor.
Any Entry not in compliance with the above will be disqualified.
RANDOM DRAWINGS: On or about September 18, 2025, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. In addition, on or about August 1, 2025 (for Entry Period 1) and September 18, 2025 (for Entry Period 2), two hundred and fifty (250) First Prize winners [one hundred and twenty-five (125) per Entry Period] will be selected in separate random drawings from among all eligible Entries received for each Entry Period. Drawings will be conducted by the Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions, along with Sponsor’s are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the number of eligible Entries received overall and during each Entry Period.
PRIZES (AWARDED TO NOMINEES ONLY) AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”):
Grand Prize [One (1) available]:
A Ten Thousand Dollar ($10,000.00) check to be used towards a Classroom Built for Curiosity, awarded to the school where the Teacher teaches (or the school of their choice if Teacher is a former teacher) (“School”).
$1,000 in Sponsor selected Crayola products, awarded to the School.
A $250 Sponsor-selected gift card awarded to the Teacher.
Sponsor-selected Welch’s Fruit Snacks products, awarded to the Teacher.
The ARV of the Grand Prize is $11,550. Winning School authorized representative/official understands that their Classroom Built for Curiosity (classroom upgrade) may (in Sponsor’s sole discretion) be photographed and/or recorded by Sponsor or its agents (“Footage”), and such Footage may be posted on various mediums, including but not limited to, Sponsor’s social media channels, Sponsor-selected websites, or on other Sponsor-owned channels. Sponsor will work with School officials as to when they will be utilizing the prize funds and for access to the school and classroom
First Prize [250 total, 125 per Entry Period]: A $250 Sponsor-specified gift card, awarded to the Teacher.
Gift cards are subject to terms and conditions. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution is allowed except by the Sponsor. All federal, state, and local taxes on the value of the prizes are the responsibility of the winning Nominee and School, as applicable. An authorized representative/official from the winning School will be required to provide an IRS determination letter to avoid tax implications on the Ten Thousand Dollar ($10,000.00) check and $1,000 Crayola product portion of Grand Prize. All aspects of the Grand Prize will be in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
GENERAL: The Site’s computer timestamp is the official timekeeper for purposes of this Sweepstakes. Potential Grand Prize-winning Nominee and an authorized representative/official of the School will both be required to sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability Release and, except where prohibited, publicity release and assignment of rights, as applicable (“Declaration”) within five (5) days of each such individual’s notification in order to be confirmed as the Grand Prize winner. If the potential Grand Prize-winning Nominee or the authorized representative/official from the School fail to return their completed Declaration within each such five (5) day response period, or any Declaration is returned as undeliverable, the potential Grand Prize winner shall be deemed to be ineligible, the Grand Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate potential Grand Prize winner will be determined. First Prizes will be automatically emailed to the First Prize-winning Nominees within six-eight weeks of the conclusion of winner selection/confirmation. Nominators, winners and winning School authorized representative/official, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes/acceptance of prize, agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its Administrators, each of their respective agencies, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees, agents, assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with submitting an Entry, accepting a prize or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules, or the announcement or offering of any prize. Winners/winning School authorized representative/official assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in the Sweepstakes or use or redemption of any prize. By entering, Entrants understand and agree that their Entry content (without personal identifying information) may be posted on the Sponsor’s website, Sponsor’s social media pages, and on other non-affiliated websites, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winners’ names, School names, likenesses, Entries (if applicable), and Footage (if applicable) for promotional purposes (including any possible public relations opportunities) without further compensation except where prohibited by law. By entering, Nominator accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; violates the Official Rules; acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. The Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in the Sweepstakes. Entries generated by AI, script or bot are not eligible. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Sweepstakes if it cannot be completed as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or corruption of any sort. In such event, Sponsor will determine the winners from eligible Entries received during each Entry Period and overall during the Sweepstakes Period, prior to cancellation. As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes or winning a prize, Nominee/School authorized representative/official agree that: (a) under no circumstance will they be permitted to obtain awards for, and they hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for out-of-pocket expenses; (b) all causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (c) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event will they be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs.
GOVERNING LAW & VENUE: SPONSOR IS REGISTERED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES WITH HEADQUARTERS IN NEW JERSEY. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SAME. EACH NOMINATOR AND NOMINEE WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND HEREBY IRREVOCABLY SUBMITS TO THE VENUE OF THOSE COURTS WITHIN THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF NEW YORK.
