Timberland Regional Library continues to refresh and reimagine library spaces across the district, creating welcoming, versatile environments designed with our communities in mind. Each refresh celebrates the unique character of its local library while introducing new features - like bright, innovative children’s play areas that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection through play-based learning. These updates reflect our commitment to keeping libraries vibrant, accessible, and engaging places for everyone to explore, learn, and belong.

Our playspaces are imagined, built, and executed almost entirely by TRL staff — creating one-of-a-kind spaces while saving taxpayers a considerable amount of money. These refreshes are funded through the TRL Building Fund, ensuring we can thoughtfully reinvest in our library spaces for the community.
