A lot has happened. A lot. I was a dumb kid when I started this account, and I have cringey as hell posts from when I was just starting my teenage years. I don't want to delete them though; I learned from deleting my old youtube videos that sometimes you want to leave up what a socially awkward mess you were so you can reflect on the progress you've made to being the person you've become now. It's good to be back; Feels like this website hasn't aged a month in the best and worst ways. But mostly best ways. As for the worst ways? They're nostalgically endearing. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Websites from my childhood have come and gone, but this has always been here; It feels like home. Newgrounds never did anything wrong, in hindsight. We just sort of unfortunately forgot about it once youtube let you upload .swfs to the platform. Remember "METAL GEAR AWESOME IS NOT ON YOUTUBE"? Yeah.
Well, now that youtube is a garbage fire that's slowly destroying itself, tumblr's become a squeaky clean no fun allowed zone where the only use that website has left is to be horrendous to one another under the guise of social activism, and twitter is even worse, I needed to find a way to pass the time when I'm not playing video games that isn't directly detrimental to my mental health.
All the artists apparently had a mass exodus here, so here I return. Should have never left, really. This website seemingly kept it's integrity and didn't fuck with the featurelist so much that it became a buggy, stripped down mess like youtube. Kudos. Nobody's probably gonna read this, but I just didn't want "yay?" to be the first thing I see when I come to my profile.
