An excerpt from the introduction by the editors, a bit of aftercare in advance:

“At the entry of the Cloaca Maxima, the “Great Drain” of Ancient Rome, there was a shrine to Venus: the Venus Clocina, goddess of the sewer. People knew that beauty is reliant on shit and that the divinity of the sewage system needed the blessing of the great goddess of pleasure. Hotter compost, brighter roses. Another thing the Romans knew: the “mouth of truth,” an ancient marble mask, said to bite off any liar’s hand, was also an entrance to the sewage system - our shit is the most honest thing we have.”

Then it was time for the 2nd KINDLING…

The 2nd KINDLING was riso printed in February 2025 in Berlin.  It is a reprint of the full-length chapbook by Katsarida Press (based in Athens):

**THE ADVENTURES OF LEUCIPPE AND CLITORIS ***ΚΑΤΑ ΛΕΥΚΙΠΠΗΝ ΚΑΙ ΚΛΕΙΤΟΡΙΔΑ***

Leucippe and Clitoris is based on one of the first romantic novels written in 192 AD by Achilleas Tattius. A very Katsarida Press retelling of an ancient story exploring themes of sexual desire, the erotic nature of eating, pornography and incest.
