How to use the plugin

    Hllo Sir,

    I installed this plugin, but I couldn’t know how to use it, because there’s no shortcode to help me add it to a Page, and I couldn’t find Settings to customize how it will look on the Frontend.

    Please, can you guide me on:

    a.) How to use this plugin ?

    b.) How to show it on a Page in the frontend through a shortcode, and

    c.) How to customize its looks ?

    Hi,

    This search plugin control the database query for search results. The result output (design) is decided by your theme.

    After installing this plugin, it starts working without any effect. To customize the search query visit Extended Search > Search settings.
    There you will find options that explain thier meaning with examples.

    So from what you’ve explained, this is not a proper Search plugin that I can use Shortcode to add to anywhere on my website?

    It’s just a Search control tool?

    I am not sure what is your exceptions about a proper search plugin.

    There is a list of features on home page of plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-extended-search/ it does everything that is listed on the page.

    Yes you can add the shortcode, PHP code, Widget to display the Search form on the website.

    How to customize its looks


    There is nothing in this plugin to customize looks kind of thing, This is trivial feature is not needed in this plugin. Nowadays, almost all themes provide options to customize the search results page.
