We have set up the native Recaptcha on the Paypal Woocommerce plugin, and have disabled the “Show reCAPTCHA status metabox on order pages”. However, we are still seeing the “_ppcp_recaptcha_token” in the order item meta. This happens even when Paypal is not being used to make the payment. The image below shows a order which was paid via Stripe, but the token still shows.

We are using a plugin called Uni CPO (https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/uni-woo-custom-product-options/) on our site to allow more options on products, and I suspect there is some interaction between these two which is causing the info to show. I’m not sure why it is being generated at all though when Paypal is not being used for the transaction.

    Hello @dscreative

    Thanks for the detailed explanation.

The behavior you are describing is not something I can reproduce on our side. I have already tested this.

This may be a compatibility edge case specific to how that plugin modifies the checkout or order creation flow. To investigate this properly, we will need to review logs and the exact environment details.

Please open a support ticket with our service desk here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/ and include a link to this thread for reference. That will allow us to look into this in more detail.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian
