The Regional Government of Extremadura has specific regulations for tourist accommodations. According to the regional Decree on the matter, “tourist accommodations” are understood to be those blocks or groups of apartments, houses, and other similar buildings, regardless of the materials used in their construction, that are professionally and habitually offered in exchange for a price, and that are equipped for immediate use.
Tourist accommodations in Extremadura must be offered as an entire place (single unit).
In Extremadura, you’ll need to register any accommodation you plan to offer as a tourist accommodation within the General Registry of Tourism Businesses and Activities of Extremadura. As part of the process, you will first need to submit a statement of responsibility to the correspondent General Directory that declares compliance with current regulations.
After you successfully complete the registration process, a registration number will be assigned to your tourist accommodation.
In order to host in Spain, you may have an obligation to obtain a national registration number within the Property Registry and display it when listing your properties in Airbnb.

Extremadura requires you to display your registration number and type of your accommodation on any form of advertisement for your tourist accommodation, including Airbnb. There’s a field that you can use to include your registration number in the Listing details section.
