What info is shown on your profile

Your Airbnb profile is the collection of information you use to introduce yourself to others on Airbnb. The Profile tab includes easy access to your Airbnb profile, as well as other account information that is not shared with anyone else. What information is displayed on your profile varies whether you’re a host, guest or both.

What host info is shared on the profile

Guests can access your host profile from your listing, in email communications and in Airbnb messages, and on their reservation details. Information shared on your host profile includes:;

  • First name. This will be your preferred first name, or business name, if you have added one. If not, this is the legal first name on your account.
  • Years being a host on Airbnb
  • Average star rating
  • Month and year your identity was verified
  • Reviews by guests
  • Whether you’re a Host Advisory Board member
  • Whether you’re an Airbnb.org supporter
  • Whether you’re a Superhost

Experience and service hosts can also choose to display their last name on their listing, via account settings. Learn more.

What guest info is shared on the profile

Hosts and other guests can see your guest profile when you book, join a trip or leave a review. Information shared on your guest profile includes:

    • First name. This will be your preferred first name, if you have added one. If not, this is the legal first name on your account.
    • Number of years you’ve been on Airbnb
    • Number of trips you’ve taken, including all stays, experiences, and services you’ve booked or joined as a co-traveler
    • Month and year your identity was verified
    • Reviews by hosts for stays – this includes trips that were reviewed when you’ve joined a trip as a co-traveler

When you have a confirmed booking, additional details that are not on your profile are shared with your host such as your last name.

    Optional info in your profile

Optional information you can choose to provide on your profile includes:

    Keep your profile current

It’s always a good idea to make sure your profile is up-to-date with info you’re comfortable sharing. For hosts of Rooms, updating your profile also helps to keep your Host Passport fresh.
