It’s easy to change the cancellation policy for your place once you decide on one that works for you.
Any changes you make to your cancellation policy will only apply to future reservations and won’t affect any pending or confirmed reservations. The cancellation policy that was set when you received a reservation will still apply to that reservation.
You can set different short-term stay cancellation policies to specific date ranges right from your calendar. This gives you the flexibility to protect earnings during peak periods and offer more flexible terms when demand isn’t as high. These dynamic policies are totally optional–if you don't set any, your main listing policy will just stay in effect.
Certain listings with moderate, limited, firm, or strict cancellation policies are automatically eligible to offer an extended cancellation option to guests. If your listing has a different policy, or you’re not eligible, you won’t have this option. Offering an extended cancellation option protects your earnings while giving guests flexibility.
If you don’t want to have an extended cancellation option for guests, you can opt out at any time.
