Add a cleaning fee to a confirmed reservation

Did you recently upgrade your cleaning process or hire a housekeeper? If so, you may want to add or update the cleaning fee in your listing, but you may also want to add it to a confirmed reservation or active trip.

To add a cleaning fee to a confirmed booking you'll need to send your guest a trip change request with the new total price. The guest has to accept the updated price for the cleaning fee to be added, so make sure to send a quick, friendly message explaining why the price is changing.

  1. Click Today > Reservations
  2. Click Upcoming and select the reservation you’d like to change
  3. Click Details and then click Change reservation
  4. Change listing, dates, number of guests or price
  5. Review the changes, then click Send request
