As soon as you publish your service or experience on Airbnb, guests can start booking available dates. Guests may reach out to ask questions about your listing before they make a reservation by using Contact host.
When someone makes a reservation, we’ll send you a confirmation email with details on who’s coming and how many guests to expect. The email will also include a link to message them through our platform.
Every reservation automatically creates a group thread where all bookers, guests, hosts and co-hosts can connect. We recommend sending guests a message after booking—to introduce yourself, answer any questions, and share what they can expect from your service or experience. It's a great way to get to know each other in advance.
If you’re hosting an experience and need to chat with a guest privately, you have that option. Click or tap Details and find them in Who’s going. You can tap Messages
to send a message to an individual guest. This message will be private between you, the guest, and any co-hosts.
Note: Private message threads cannot be created with individual guests of services.
You can send photos and videos to get guests excited about their upcoming service or experience or share memories after the service or experience. All of the photos and videos sent between guests, hosts, and co-hosts can be viewed in the Gallery section of your Details.
