Display your full name as a service or experience host

As a service or experience host, you can choose to display your full name on your listing when you host services and experiences.

How your full name is displayed

By default, Airbnb displays only your legal first name. If you are a service or experience host, you can choose to display your legal last name by changing the setting in your Personal information.

You also have the option to display your preferred first name instead of your legal first name–which may be a business name, if that’s how you host.

If you choose to show your full name, it’ll show up on your listing and may be indexed by search engines, if your listing is searchable. Whatever you choose, it’ll show up the same way on all services and experiences you host.

Add your full name to your profile

Display your full name on desktop

  1. Click Menu > Account settingsPersonal information
  2. Go to Host display name for experiences and services and click Edit
  3. Tap to turn on Show my full name
  4. Review your full name as will be displayed on your listing

A new display name setting can be added to your account settings under personal information. This setting applies specifically to experience and service listings.

  • Default setting: Displays your first name only.
  • Optional setting: Displays your full name. This is your legal first name or preferred first name (if you’ve added it), and your legal last name.
