Add co-hosts to your Airbnb Service or Experience

If you could use extra help with running your service or experience, you can invite a co-host to join you.

What co-hosts can do

Every co-host has full access to the service and experience listing that they’ve been invited to, which means that they will be able to update the listing, accept or decline booking inquiries, view the calendar, manage dates and times, and message any guests.

They'll also appear as a co-host on your experience listing and can lead a service or an experience once they've provided copies of any relevant licenses, certifications, and insurance. Learn more about guidelines for hosting services and experiences.

You’ll both receive a confirmation email when you add a co-host to your service or experience.

Invite a co-host to help manage your experience

Invite a co-host on desktop

  1. Click Listings and select the listing you want to add a co-host to
  2. Under Listing editor, click Co-hosts
  3. Click Get started or if you’re inviting additional co-hosts, click Invite a co-host
  4. Add their country/region and phone number or email address and click Next
  5. Choose how your co-host will be helping, either They’ll help behind the scenes or They’ll help host reservations and then click Next
  6. Review and click Send

    Getting ready to co-host

When your co-host gets their invite by email or text, they’ll need to accept it. To do this, they need to create an Airbnb account and have their ID verified.

If they’ll be helping with hosting, they’ll also need to share details about their experience—like how many years they’ve been hosting, any certifications or training, and key career highlights.

Depending on the type and location of the experience, they may also need to upload licenses or proof of insurance.

You can remove a co-host from your experience listing whenever you want.

Introducing your service co-hosts to guests

If a co-host is helping you lead your service, be sure to introduce them to your guests in thea message thread so guests know who to expect upon arrival.
