First of all I want to say thank you to the whole community of Barang Village especially to Kabi, Durga and their entire family who have been such a lovely host. Barang community is more than a community, is a home far away from home where you will feel most welcomed here as they all will treat you as a part of their family. I'm glad that I found this place which I had a chance to learn their culture. I really reccomended this community village for those who seek to know about Nepali culture, but PLEASE DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING FANCY HERE as you will live at a village not a city, there is no AC or Hot Shower but believe me the room is way much comfortable to sleep as you will have a nice breeze from nature. You gonna live in the same roof with the local family, they will teach you lots of things that you might not have it at your country. The village itself is located outside from the hustle Pokhara, so you will be able to enjoy the nature, lots of place to go trekking, fresh air and no polution. All I can say is, you will definitely have a memorable memories while staying here 🫶

Lilly and Ganesh offer a welcoming, restful experience at the Indralok Hotel and Sky Garden. The beds and rooms are very comfortable. The little things, such as providing locally made soap, and lots of hot water, are what make this cozy hotel especially special. The view of the Himalayas from the roof is spectacular. The mountains will take your breath away. Guaranteed. A great spot for remote workers as the WIFI signal is strong and reliable. The lounge upstairs is a fabulous place to just take life in. And the food? So delicious with a mix of Nepali and western dishes on offer. So tasty and nutritious with an emphasis on locally grown.

The Little Pilgrim Family Lodge is a lovely place to stay and relax. The vibe is welcoming and kind. The rooms are comfortable and the view from the balcony is stunning. Bishnu will help you organize your activities and is also a wealth of information about Nepal and Pohkura. As a guide for 32 years, he knows the trekking community! Nishia, his wife, is an amazing cook and makes fabulous healthy food. She also makes sure that everything is in order and does it all with one of the most beautiful smiles ever. BJ, who does it all, is a magician. He often anticipates your needs before you even know what they are! And the neighborhood feels like a neighborhood yet is still just a few minutes walk from the always joyfully busy Lakeside road track. We don’t want to leave!

Mr B’s Place, mere steps from Bardiya National Park, is run by a lovely family. It would not be enough to say that the rooms are clean and comfortable, that the food is fresh,delicious and cooked to order when you wish and that the walking safari and the jeep safari are exciting and fun. It is the people that make the difference. The staff is friendly and attentive, ready to help and make your stay just right. Special thanks to Dipok, our jeep safari driver and especially to Loken our knowledge guide who not only made our two safari days special and filled with unique experiences but also took such good care of us during our 4 day stay. Thank you also to Bibek who welcomed us and helped us find a mechanic for our motorcycle malfunction. Highly recommend Mr B’s place for your time in Bardiya. We left our hearts.

I found a new home away from home! My stay at Ananta Home Pvt. Ltd was fantastic. The hotel has a superb location in the bustling district of Thamel. You can enjoy shopping and indulge in many restaurants and cafes without a taxi. Speaking of Taxis, the hotel can arrange airport pickups and drop-offs. The hotel goes beyond that. The management arranged two tourist programs for me. As for my room, it had all that I needed. The comfortable mattress made me sleep like a baby. The well-lit room helps when you want to read or get things done on your laptop. The hotel does not offer a buffet breakfast. Instead, they make breakfast to order. Rest assured, you will get your food fresh from the kitchen! And what can I say about the fantastic team managing the guests' experience. I felt I made new friends! Thank you, Arjun, Anisa, Pratik, Summet, Gita, Indira, and Sudip for making me feel at home!
