The staff first and foremost were excellent and so attentive. Sohair was extremely hospitable and Hammad very enjoyable to be accompanied by during my tours with him. The property itself is one of a kind- set in a historic building turned museum and hotel, it was like being transported back in time. A true getaway.

The location is excellent, right opposite a mall and only 11–15 minutes from Salalah International Airport. There’s a petrol pump just 2 minutes away, along with McDonald’s, a pharmacy, and several restaurants nearby. The hotel also offers convenient parking. The terrace swimming pool is a nice highlight, and the balcony rooms provide lovely city views with clear views of the mountains. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Special thanks to the reception manager for kindly extending our checkout time.

Good extensive breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff who will do anything for you. It's an amazing location right at the edge of Jabal Samhan, with breathtaking views over the lower lands down the cliff and the city of Mirbat, which magically lights up in the distance at night. Probably the only hotel in the region or even the country at a location like this one.

Salalah is very exotic.

Salalah is very exotic. When you travel around you spot camels, cows and donkeys wandering on mountains paths. You wouldn't find modernity and so many things to do as in Emirates, but you will find beautiful beach, in some places wild, without buildings. Not far from the city u can go to hills enjoying beautiful view. People are very friendly. Resorts are beautiful and well maintained.

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect...

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect if you look for a quite and familiar place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. the surrundings are stunning and the trip is aboslutely worth it. There are several resorts in the area but they are very decent and not invasive.

Salalah and especially the surrounding mountains contain a unique environment with magical natural views. But, if you want to see the lush green landscapes and waterfalls, make sure to come in the correct monsoon season known as khareef, which is during the summer months. Once the rains stop, the waterfalls dry up and the lush greenery turns dry and yellow. I came in November, which is a perfect time for nature photography as there is no rain to damage the camera and nature is still very alive, but all waterfalls had already completely dried up and the lush greenery was gone. The region, like the entire country, is very safe, with friendly and helpful people.
