The 2025 Connecticut Legislative Session has officially come to a close. While this year’s budget included funding for two charter schools in other parts of the state, Danbury Charter School was not included. But despite this disappointment, we remain committed to bringing our school to life for the benefit of the children of Danbury.

Since receiving state approval in 2018, Danbury Charter School has built a strong foundation — partnering with Elevate CMO, engaging the community, and completing its facility at 2 National Place without cost to taxpayers. Yet, despite widespread support, state funding remains pending. Our advocacy continues, and we invite you to join us in pushing for the educational opportunities Danbury families deserve.
