Government Contracting Assistance Program (GCAP)

For more than 30 years, the Government Contract Assistance Program (GCAP, now called Apex Accelerators) has assisted the state’s businesses by connecting business to government contracting opportunities. This fosters a pipeline of competitive contractors ready to serve all levels of government (federal, state, and local).

GCAP assists companies through a variety of services including technical assistance, counseling, bid matching services, sub-contracting assistance, workshops, and conferences. Program counselors are located in all regions of the state, with a heightened focus on outreach to rural and underserved communities. Most GCAP services are also free of charge.

In Fiscal Year 2020, Oregon businesses using GCAP procured 660 federal contracts totaling more than $50 million.
