There are some things that are fun to buy: holidays, meals out, shiny new trainers. Then there are some things that you just have to get so you can live your life. Insurance isn’t an enjoyable thing to spend your hard-earned money on, but it is important. If you drive a car, for example, it’s a legal requirement that you get some level of car insurance. Other types of cover, like travel insurance, home insurance and pet insurance, aren’t legal requirements but they’re a very good idea financially if anything does happen in the future.
