Notes from the Office
Please remember, you must submit a written excuse within 3 days of your childs absence. Class begins each morning at 7:30, and children are marked tardy at 7:45. Thank you for your help in ensuring your children are ready and on time each day! If your child is missing a jacket please have them check the lost and found. Next week all items will be donated.
This week we returned to long vowels. We made a chart helping us remember how to make long vowels say their names. We did lots of different fun activities to help understand how the vowels say their names. We played games pretending we were the letters. Your amazing little people had lots of fun practicing applying these skills. We are now working implementing that in our daily writing.

FYI:

Theme:

Tonight is Movie Night! We will be going to the 5:00 showing. Please meet us at 4:30 in front of the theater. We will walk in at 4:45. All your child needs to bring is the price of the ticket. We will NOT be going to the 3-D showing. We have been very busy assessing for our kindergarten checklist. These will come home next week. As always feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

This week we continued researching our baboon spider. The children are very excited about all the interesting facts! They are working very hard to research their questions!.

This week we worked on place value. We are working together to understand the difference betweens the ones and tens places. We played lots of different games this week to help apply this skill. We played ten frames match-up, make the biggest number, and piggy bank.
