• Secured an All India Rank of 1203 in the IIT Joint Entrance Examination 2006 in which about 3,00,000
students appeared.
• Secured a State Rank 183 in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination.

• Recipient of the National Talent Search Scholarship, awarded by the Govt. of India, in the year 2003.

• Recipient of the State Government of Maharashtra scholarship for the academic years 1996 & 2003

PROJECTS:

• Chaos and Non Linear Dynamics:

Currently studying Nonlinear dynamics as a seminar topic under Prof. Punit Parmananda. (Completion by
April 2009)

• Magnetic Refrigeration:
Undertook a self study about Magnetic Refrigeration under [Link], during summer of 2008.
• Computational Methods:
Developed a C++ program to solve the Schrodinger Wave Equation numerically for a particle in a 1D
polynomial potential distribution. [Course Project under [Link] Shukla, 4th semester]
• Buzzer Network:
Developed a digital circuit that allowed binary data transmission between members of a network. [Course
Project for Digital Circuits Lab, 4th semester]
• Image Editor:
Designed a basic image editor in C++ [Course project under [Link] Sohoni, 1st semester]
• Quine McCluskey Algorithm:
Developed a C++ program to implement the Quine McCluskey Algorithm used for minimization of
Boolean functions.

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:

• Programming: Intermediate C++

• Web Designing: Basic HTML, CSS, PHP

• Operating systems: Intermediate Windows, Linux

• Working knowledge of Mathematica and LaTex

EXTRACURRICULAR:

• Completed the 42km Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2009.

• Successfully completed the Basic Mountaineering Course from the Western Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute in July 2008.

• Participated and completed the 18th Vashi-Khopoli-Vashi (110 km) cycle race conducted by the Navi
Mumbai Sports Association.

• Awarded grade 'A' as the Leading Cadet in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Certificate A examination.

• Have cleared the Elementary and Intermediate grade drawing examinations held by the Government of
Maharashtra.
