Proposed Low Cost Housing Architectural Programming First Step
Goal:
Economy:This Project aims to Build a socialize housing community where it can accommodate those people who is underprivileged of having a big amount of salary a month, . People and Environment:This project aims to give shelter to those types of people in our society that it would give them the privilege to have a healthy, productive and safe environment, Function/Relationship:also that it would boost-up the self-esteem of every individual, making them feel a higher class of people without being discriminated in our society.

Macroeconomic Targets, CAR: 2011-2016 Poverty has always been a continuing challenge in the region. Using the estimates generated based on the refinements in the official poverty estimation methodology of the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB), poverty incidence increased from 16.1 percent in 2003 to 18.6 percent in 2006 then slightly decreasing to 17.1 percent in 2009. THIS MEANS THAT IN 2009, ALMOST TWO OUT OF EVERY TEN CORDILLERANS LIVE BELOW THE POVERTY THRESHOLD OF P16,122. Two of the regions provinces, Apayao and Mountain Province, were in the ten poorest provinces in 2006 but both have graduated in 2009. In stark contrast, Benguet consistently belongs to the ten least poor provinces in the country. The same situation is reflected using the Human Development Index (HDI). Table 3.25 below shows that in 1997, the HDI of four of CARs six provinces (Benguet, Kalinga, Abra and Apayao), belonged to the upper half of the countrys 77 provinces. In 2006, however, only Benguet and Abra, ranking 1st and 24th,
respectively, remained in the upper half. Kalinga slid down from rank 21 to 65, and Apayao from 33 to 64. Although Mountain Province rose from rank 52 to 48, and Ifugao from 50 to 45, both still remained at the bottom half. With regards the Millennium Development Goals, Cordillera has a high probability of attaining its 2015 targets in poverty reduction. This does not, however, mean an ideal situation for the Cordillerans. Attaining the regional target of 16.0 percent of families below the national poverty threshold by 2015 means that we still have a long way to go in terms of improving the socio-economic well-being of Cordillerans.

whereas, the housing and land use regulatory board(hlurb),|s vested with rulemaking and standard setting functions under executive order no.648, s. of 1984 as amended by executive order no' 90' s' of 1986; whereas, section 3 of bp220 authorizes hlurb to established promulgate different levels of standards and technical of economic and socialized housing projects whereas, the powers of hlurb to approve subdivision plans has been dissolved to cities and municipalities that the exercise of such devolved powers shall be in accordance with the implementing rules and standards of pd 957 and other related laws promulgated by hlurb; WHEREAS, the Board received clamor from the Regional Offices, private sectors, standards implementers and other stakeholders to review existing policies, standards and rules.
Concepts
To be able to come up with a good design of a low cost housing, aside from considering the standards rules and regulation that are being implemented by our government, the proposed community must be built with Form: . proper orientation of lots that will be divided and buildings must be tropically designed and constructed for the comfort of the end-users in the future, :.proper orientations of Road networks and pedestrian must be considered.. .Environmental Aspects must also be preserved within the site for natural aesthetics.
Function:
.amenities and facilities such as open spaces and recreational areas must be strategically located for easy access of the people
NEEDS: Function: Site Selection: must be taken prioritize for
. Dralnage System: The drainage system for economic and sochlized housing projects shall be made of concrete lined canal with adequate capacity and with load bearing cover. Recreational Areas: Area for Parks and Playgrounds shall not be less 100 mts. And
strategically located.
Form:
Since it is low cost housing building cost of every building must be prioritize as for building construction and Materials to be used. Same as to Environmental aspect such as Landscaping and others.
PROBLEM: Function:
To Design a community that will take away discrimination of the society to the underprivileged people. To design a community that prioritizes the Safety, comfort and healthy environment for the end-users

To Design a Community that considers the climatological and topographical location of the site as for tropical consideration
Economy:
To design a Community that is limited with Budget and Cost of Construction.
