Greetings
I am Mr. Samuel C. Villa Jr., applying for a permanent teaching position in your
prestigious university in Cebu Technological University, Dumanjug Extension Campus,
Bitoon, Dumanjug, Cebu. I have completed all the requirements for the Bachelor of
Science in Secondary Education, Technology and Livelihood Education major in
Industrial Technology (BSEd T.L.E. I.T.) and Master of Arts in Vocational Education
([Link]) at Cebu Technological University Main Campus, with Drafting, Electrical,
Electronics and Computer Technologies as my strong affiliations. I am planning to enroll
at Cebu Technological University- Moalboal Campus for my doctorate degree in
Technology Management (Ph. D. TM.) this summer 2017.
I have been teaching for three (3) years handling various technical subjects of the
T.L.E. Department in the University of San Carlos, Basic Education Department- North
Campus, three (3) years teaching Electrical Technology, P.C. Hardware Servicing and
MAPEH in Bitoon National Vocational High School, Bitoon, Dumanjug, Cebu of the
Department of Education, currently teaching Media and Information Literacy,
Empowerment Technologies and Practical Research in the Senior High School at
Coogn National High School and a Part- Time Instructor at Cebu Technological
University, Dumanjug Extension Campus since 2012 handling professional education,
T.L.E. shops and technical drawing subjects. In my eight years of teaching experience, I
have handled various technical- vocational subjects, both in secondary and tertiary
education, as well as in the administrative area being the Lead MAPEH Coordinator of
Dumanjug Secondary Schools for three (3) consecutive years. I enjoy student- teaching
supervision very much as well as working with my colleagues, and I consider such
applied responsibilities to be among the most important contributions I can make for the
institution.
