SWC Lesson Reflection (Completed after EVERY lesson taught)

On the 22nd of February 2018 we had the activities day which was about when I grow up. I read
a story for the students that is called when I grow up at the beginning of the day. The students
by the end of the lesson were able to listen and respond to various text that are read aloud.
At the beginning I engaged students by asking them about their parent’s careers and then we
discussed about the story. After that I started reading the story for the students and they were
so interested because there were some careers that they didn’t hear about before.
After finishing reading the story I gave students the chance to draw themselves in the future
and after that each student stood and talked about the career he want to be.
Students liked the activity so much because they like drawing and then when they were
introducing themselves and the careers they want to be in the future. Their friends were so
happy to listen to the friend that was talking and they were encouraging each other.
Students get so engaged when they listen to stories and they liked the story so much. For the
next lessons I would read stories for students if I want to introduce a concept to them to make
them so engaged and interested in the lesson.
