What are the 4m of management?


 4M 4M management method is the use of management engineering
methods. 4Mis the ISO quality management system in one of the elements. It
means: Manpower (Manpower); Machine (machine); Material (material); Method
(methods, techniques); usually also contains 1E: Environments (environment)

The 4 Ms of Management

Manpower - Without manpower you are unable to get your work done. Untrain man can cause damage to
goods.

Method - Wrong method of doing the jobs can be expensive because you may not be able to attain the
results.

Machine - If your machine of inferior quality it may take a longer process to get the work done and
therefore time equals to money. Break down of machinery is down time and that cause is higher. You need
to pay your manpower and pay for repairs and materials maybe perisable.

Materials - Quality of material - use the material of different quantity or quality can affect the end results
causing a loss.
