1. DOCUMENT OVERVIEW
This document will describe about the Equipment Request.
Requisition Note (Equipment Request):
Requisition notes are used by the requesting location (for example, usage site) of an equipment.
Equipment with the required features and characteristic attributes are registered in planning for
the required period of time.
2. DEFINITIONS
1. SAP : Systems Applications and Products
2. PM : It is Plant Maintenance Module
3. ETM : It is Equipments,Tools and Management Module
4. Company Code : The smallest organizational unit of Financial Accounting for which a complete
self-contained set of accounts can be drawn up for purposes of external reporting
5. Purcahse Organization: An organizational unit in Logistics, subdividing an enterprise according
to the requirements of Purchasing.
6. Purchase Group: Key for a buyer or a group of buyers, who is/are responsible for certain
purchasing activities. Internally, the purchasing group is responsible for the procurement of a
material.
7. Plant: Plant in which you produce or for which you wish to procure materials or services.
8. Storage Location: Name of the storage location at which materials are stored
9. Material: The goods that are the subject of business activity. The material can be traded, used in
manufacture, consumed, or produced.
10. Material Group: A grouping of materials and services according to their characteristics
11. Purcahse Requisition: A request or instruction to Purchasing to procure a quantity of a material
or service so that it is available at a certain point in time.
12. Vendor: A business partner from whom materials or services can be procured
13. Cost Center: An organizational unit within a controlling area that represents a defined location
of cost incurrence
14. Class: A group of similar objects described by means of characteristics that they have in common.
15. Characteristics: Property for describing and distinguishing between objects, such as
Capacity,Power etc.,
