whitespace).
The heading tags <h1>Most Important</h1> Ideally just one of these on the page. Always have a H1. <h2> & <h3> are of descending importance and optional.
Bold and strong Use strong as a preference for accessibility. Both have the same SEO value and so can be used to add importance to keywords.
Images Both the image file name and alt text should be descriptive and contain keywords:

hyperlinks The outcome of clicking the link should be obvious. Anchor text should contain keywords where appropriate.

Meta description The meta description tag should aim to be no more than 160 chars and should be a sentence that describes the page using keywords where appropriate.
