HOW TO CHANGE RELAY SETTING IN ABB RELAY

1. Through ABB software PCM600


2. Manually from front Key Pad
 Setting Change through front key pad when you want to change the settings in the relay.

Procedure
 Press the Menu Button Key
 Go to Settings tab by using down Navigation Key
 Press Right navigation key to Setting Group Selection
 The default group is 1, then press the Enter Button
 After entering to the main settings, you will find, “Current Protection”, “Voltage
Protection”, “Frequency Protection” & “Control” & you can change the curser by
making Up/Down navigation key. Choose accordingly the protection settings you want
to change.

Let if you want to change the “Over Current Low Set”, then press Enter key in the “Current
Protection” Tab
 Then use Navigation key to reach to the desired protection tab.
 Press Right key to see the settings.
 Press Right key to change the settings .This page is the final display page for the settings
you want to change.
 Whatever modified value you want to change, go to the desired row by up/down arrow
navigation key.
 Press Enter key on the row, which value you want to change.
 After Enter key, the value will select with a black curser.
 Now use Up / Down arrow key to increase/decrease the setting respectively.
 After set the desired value, press left key.

 And press the left key continuously unless until you reach the main screen with a
confirmation question Do you want to save the settings with “YES”/”NO” tab.
 Press Enter key in YES.
 Now your new updated settings are ready to use.
HOW TO EXTRACT DATA FROM RELAY BY PUO ANGILE
 Connected the RS3 connector for communication with relay to system.
 Then we go to quick connection press to quick connection.
 Open the software Mi COM51 Angile VL 2.0
 When you open the software, enter into device name press the enter key.
 Now establish a connection by right click on test connection.
 If connection is setup its give indication.
 After that you enter in to setting and then extract setting of the relay.
 If you want to extract setting and connection diagram of relay, go into programmable
sequence logic (PSL) and click on right button on PSL.
