Specific Learning Outcomes


At the end of the lesson, the learners can:
 Discuss the importance of Animation in the ICT industry through a short video clip;
 Identify the common key competencies of an Animator by listing down the principles of
Animation; and
 Classify the industries and careers for business as an Animator by researching its
description and a Filipino animator who made it in the industry.

A. Focus Lesson
Animator – a person who creates or is involved in the process of creating an animated film
Competency – the minimum skill required to perform a specific job

Ask the students to look for a Filipino animator who made it big in the global animation
industry or in the Hollywood. Write about their roots, how they started in the animation industry,
how they got in to the international scene, and what is their famous or recent work.
