SEWA Project
Introduction to sewa
SEWA gave us an excellent opportunity to develop

our life skills like team work, mutual

understanding, organisation capabilities and self

responsibility.
Planning
Keeping in views of our SEWA project we
discussed about different activities with our
mentor Rathi Sir and after discussing for two to
three days in zero hour we finalized the road map
to smoothly conduct the science exhibition on the
topic “Zenith of Innovation” in our school
premises. We chose this event because it gave a
lot of scope for an enriching and informative
experience that gave our brains the stimulus to
aim and achieve our goals in field of technology.
What we learned
Through the science exhibition, we got an
opportunity to learn about how to enhance our
organising skills and team work spirit. It also
enhanced our planning skills and decision making
process .
Distribution of work
The work was distributed among the students in
different group like art and craft , photography ,
decorating , project collection and volunteers. The
project collector took the responsibility for the
collection of exhibits from the classes IX – XII on
the sub-topics :- ❖ Waste management ❖
Transportation ❖ Agriculture ❖ Mathematical
modelling from ATAL LAB The art and craft group
came forward with the idea for making the posters,
charts, banners, badges and wrapping the gifts for
the chief guests. The volunteers scouted the chief
guest, our respected Principal Mrs. Swarnima
Luthra, and the senior wing incharge for the
inauguration of the exhibition. The volunteers were
appointed at different arenas of exhibition for
helping and guiding the judges and guests for the
smooth functioning of the exhibition.

Our photography group did an excellent job in

capturing the moments for the portfolio to be

published in the school magazine.

CREDIT
We would like to thank our school, ASN SR. SEC.

SCHOOL , because it never fails to push ustowards

the positive side of this double edged sword. We
would also like to thank our principal and our
mentor Rathi Sir for giving us the opportunity to
organize the science exhibition.
Rain water harvesting
We took an initiative to save water by rain water
harvesting as our SEWA project. First of all we
divided our class into few groups.

First group was assigned the work to clean the

ground. We cleaned the ground with broom ,
threw all the plastics. The second group came
forward with ideas of cleaning drainage. Third
group collected all the water from the school
canteen that was used to wash vegetables . We
watered the plants with them . The last group
socialised with people made posters and banners
to increase the awareness and how they can save
water.

SEWA gave us a good opportunity to conserve

water and help us to become responsible.
