Discuss confrontation and negotiation


The terms negotiation and confrontation are conflicting terms. These are the terms that

are highly applicable in the businesses daily. As in the wordy meanings, negotiation means in the

dialogues between the two people or the two parties. Through which the consensus can be made

between the parties, such kind of situation is used in the businesses to make the appropriate deal

or seeking the right and acceptable solution for both. This can be used in making the dialogues

between the two parties considering making the business deals. This starts from the situation in

which the two parties have different goals and needs, and through negotiation, the mutual

benefits can be served to both parties [ CITATION Kat20 \l 1033 ].

Confrontation is the name of conflict between the parties or persons. This is the course of

dispute in which the one-party engages the other for the approval of their perspective. This

confrontation can be varied based on the scale, such as, between the people or between the

organizations. The example of the confrontation is the legal filing of the case against the other.

The confrontation can be competitive, such as confronting the competitors in the market place,

sales, market share, brand value, etc. The confrontation happens in between the employees in an

organization, such as disputes over the territory of the sales area, the breach in the other

employee's region can urge them towards confrontation [ CITATION Tar20 \l 1033 ]. Effective

negotiation can help parties to reach a standard solution for a matter of conflicts and bring benign

conditions of working. these concepts are useful for better communication and to know about the

difference of opinion for the greater good of people working in the organization.
