Commercial Bid.

Dear Sirs,
With reference to above, I am pleased to inform you that the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation
Limited (NEEPCO) intends to award you the service of “Providing Certification in connection with
implementation of Integrated Management System (IMS) as per latest standards of ISO 9001:2015, ISO
14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 at 8(Eight) Projects /Offices of NEEPCO” at your quoted rate and as per scope,
terms and conditions of the Bid document & subsequent Corrigendum thereto for a Contract Price of
Rs. 4,03,458.00 (Rupees Four Lakh, Three Thousand, Four Hundred and Fifty Eight only) including all applicable
taxes & duties.
The time of completion is 04 (four) months from the date of issue of Letter of Intent (LOI) for issue of
Certificates. As per Scope of work, 3 Nos. audits (i.e. 1 No. assessment/pre-certification Audit during the
period of 4(four) months from the date of issue of LOI and 2 Nos. surveillance/periodic Audits one each in 2 nd
& 3rd year) to be conducted by the Certification body, against which the Corporation will intimate the date of
initial visit for assessment/pre-certification Audit within 15 days from the date of issue of LOI and
surveillance/periodic Audit date at least two weeks in advance for the 2 nd & 3rd year. The validity period of new
Certificates for Integrated Management System comprising of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO
45001:2018 will be for 3 (three) years w.e.f. the date of issue of the Certificates.
You are requested to submit the following documents to the Engineer-in-Charge indicated below, within
below mentioned period, for his approval:
(i) Work Plan indicating the sequence of various activities, within 7(seven) days from the date of issue of
the LOI, in terms of Clause 5.5, Part-2 of Bid Document,

(ii) A Contract Performance Guarantee (CPG) for an amount equal to 3% (Three percent) of the Contract
Price in the form of Bank Guarantee as per the prescribed format provided in Annexure-4 of Part-2 of
Bid Document, within 15(Fifteen) days from the date of issue of this LOI, in terms of Clause 5.4, Part-2 of
Bid Document and subsequent Corrigendum thereto. Alternatively, you may deposit the CPG amount
through SB-COLLECT of State Bank of India by following the steps given in Clause 5.4(i), Part-2 of Bid
Document.
This LOI shall be treated as Notification for commencement of the service in consultation with the
Engineer-in-Charge, as mentioned below or his authorised representative:
