FACTOR CONDITIONS:
The Australian Agricultural Company Limited (AACo) produces and sells beef. The company operates
properties, cattle ranches, feedlots, farms and a beef processing facility in Queensland, Western
Australia, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
AACo divides its activities into the following areas:
Cattle Operates a herd of approximately 400,000 cattle and operates pastoral properties in Queensland
and the Northern Territory.
Properties Owns and manages land, feedlots and farms primarily in Queensland and the Northern
Territory, where the company is active in the rearing, cultivation, processing and refining of livestock.
AACo also grows grain and forage crops to support animal production.
Livingstone Beef This processing facility in South Darwin, Northern Territory has a daily production
capacity of up to 1000 head of beef. The Livingstone Beef plant also produced meat for export, as well
as hides and extracted products. was hired at Livingstone Beef in August 2018 and the company is
currently evaluating its installation options.
The company is also active in the sales and marketing of branded beef in world markets.

Infrastructure is a key factor for the agribusiness. The department works within the Australian
government to facilitate agricultural infrastructure issues, including inland rail, telecommunications and

Communications and the Arts, which are the leading Australian government agencies in this field.
The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Report on Agricultural Infrastructure is a report
produced by CSIRO and supported by the Australian Government's White Paper on Agricultural
Competitiveness, entitled "TransIT: Unlocking options for an Efficiency Logistics Infrastructure in
Australian Agriculture" was financed.
