Goal: Capacitate teachers with knowledge, skills and attitudes in the content knowledge and
pedagogy, contextualization of learning materials, strategies in the delivery of learning
modalities and authentic assessment of learning, community partnership engagement, and
professional development.

5. OVERVIEW/RATIONALE: Pursuant to Div Memo No. 25, .2022

One of the Departments program trusts is the K to 12 Basic EducationProgram that would
cater a lifelong learning for our students. In line with this, teachersbeing the front liners
must be equipped with the necessary tool to manage and executea meaningful learning
process of our students. Continues professional developmentkeep teachers up-to-date on
new research and on how children learn, emergingtechnology tools for the classroom, and
new curriculum resources.

Since students are our main clientele, teachers must be connected to andderived from
working with students and understanding their behavior. Aside fromteacher

s development, one reason why this training will be conducted is for
thestudents welfare and protection.
This training is also in line with the DepEd’s Core
Values Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Maka-kalikasan and lastly Maka-bansa which
anchoredon the following topics; SDRRMC topics for maka-kalikasan, child
protection, welfareand Gender & Development for Maka-Diyos and maka-tao, and
action research,property management and accountability for maka-bansa
