□ Step 1: Register to get a TRIAL license


Enter your name and e-mail at our website.

□ Step 2: Download SQ X program


After registration you can click on a green button. Alternatively, use this link.
Note: You can choose between Windows, Mac and Linux version.

□ Step 3: Install the program on your PC

Note: If you had problem with the installer, you could download SQ X as a ZIP archive (it is available on our download page, too).

□ Step 4: Launch the program and enter your unique license code
This code was sent to your e-mail address after your registration.
Creating strategies

□ Step 5: Get oriented in SQ X


The main sections of SQ X are: Builder, Retester, Optimizer, Data Manager, Custom Projects, AlgoWizard
and SQ 4 Business (Ultimate edition tool for selling strategies).

□ Step 6: Download data


You need historical data to create/backtest strategies (also called robots, EAs, etc.). Download them in Data Manager section.

Builder section is the core of the software. It is all about configuration of building options.

(SQ X currently supports MetaTrader 4/5, MultiCharts, TradeStation and JForex).

Load your strategies to the trading platform connected to your broker’s account.
Note: We highly recommend to test strategies on demo account first (on very small real account alternatively).
Do not forget to import SQ indicators to the platform!
