ABOUT THE SPEAKER


Ravi Kant is a veteran corporate leader with 50 years of experience across various
industries. He was the CEO and Vice Chairman of Tata Motors, where he led the acquisition
of Jaguar Land Rover, UK; Tata Daewoo, South Korea and other global companies. He is
currently on the board of Kone Ltd, Helsinki and Hawkins Cookers Ltd, India. He has also
served as the director of several other companies, including Vedanta, Voltas and Tata
COMMANDER V K JAITLY
Industries. He is deeply interested in the education and health sectors, and has been BOA member, Partha Ghosh
associated with IIM Rohtak, IIIT Allahabad, NID Ahmedabad, Smile Train, Akhand Jyoti Academy of Leadership
Hospital and two cancer start-ups. He is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and Aston University,
UK, and has received distinguished alumnus awards from both institutions. He was also Registration Link
conferred a [Link] (Hon) by Aston. He was an Industrial Professor at the University of
Warwick, UK and a distinguished professor at IIT Kharagpur.
