Pipe Line Capacity

In the construction of this tank capacity table, the inner capacity of suction lines are not included,
therefore, when pipe lines are filled with cargo, the under – mentioned line capacity should be
added to the volume obtained from the tank capacity table.

Pump Name C.O.T. Group Pipe Line capacity (M3)

CP 1 1P, 1S, 3P & 3S 6.201
CP 2 5S & 5P 1.106
CP 3 2P, 2S, 4P & 4P 5.195
SLOP Slop P & Slop S 0.010

Example of Calculation
When the vessel has any trim or list, the measured ullage level should be corrected by using of the
correction table, trim and list as follows :-

Vessel’s Condition

Trim : 1.0 m by the stem

List : 0.5degree to port side

Example of calculation

No.3 C.O.T.(Port)

Measured Ullage Level by MMC : 1.500 m

Correction for MMC tape : -0.322 m

: 1.178m

Correction for Trim (from Page 5) : +59mm

Correction for List (from Page 17) : -18mm

Correction Ullage Level : 1.219m

Corresponding Volume (from Page 53)

928.637- [(928.637-927.723) x0.9] : 927.814 M3
