Radio 2012

Radio 2012 is a macro 2T radio with

up to 2x80W output power. As all
other parts of the Ericsson Radio
System portfolio, the Radio 2012
has best in class design when it
comes to radio performance and
power efficiency for wide area 3GPP
radio products.

Radio 2012 is a new type of radio

designed to support new frequency
bands that allow Supplemental
Downlink, enhancing the overall
capacity of the network. In these
frequency bands there is only
support for a downlink and not
uplink, hence Carrier Aggregation
with another existing band is
needed to provide two-way
communication with devices.

Radio 2012 has thanks to its small

and smart dimensions support for a
wide range of mounting scenarios
and provides a pioneering flexibility
within its product segment with the
one-bolt installation principle. With
Radio 2012, Ericsson evolves the
macro radio part of the portfolio to
become even more flexible and
making it easier than ever to make
small and efficient multi-band macro
radio installations.

Radio 2012 provides RET support

towards the antenna system.

LTE is supported with up to 40 MHz

bandwidth.
