Cheikh anta diop was a prominent Senegalese

historian,anthropologist,physicst,and politician who studied the history

and culture of [Link] is well known for his work in the feld of

afrocentism and research on the African origin of [Link] explored

topics such as Ancient African civilization and the contributions of African

societies to the world history

 His work emphasized the importance of understanding and acknowledging

 In chapter one he discusses the early African contribution to word

civilization and importance of understanding African civilization role .H

restore dignity and self awareness to African people

 Diop discusses the future of Africa he argues that Africa has a bright future

but that it must overcome the challenges of colonialism neocolonialism and
