ay pinagsama ilan lahat ang mga prutas?
• Ipaliwanag sa mga mag-aaral na ang pang-ukol na AT ay
papalitan ng simbolong +, at ang AY papalitan ng = upang
maipakita ang pagsasama ng mga bilang o bagay at ito ay
tinatawag din addition.
• Itanong sa mga mag-aaral kung ano ang addition? (Ang
addition ay ang pagsasama ng mga bagay)
• Ipakita ang larawan ng mga bagay na 3 avocado at 2
mangga. Itanong sa mga mag-aaral anong mga bilang ang nakikita
nila mula sa larawan?Ipaliwanag na ang bilang na 3 at 2 ay
tinatawag na ADDENDS. Itanong sa mga mag-aaral ano ang
makukuhang sagot kapag pinagsama ang 3 at 2.(Ang magiging
sagot ay 5) Ang nakuhang sagot na 5 ay tinatawag na SUM.
