security.
Internship:
Public Safety Network (Network Engineer – Intern at Motorola Innovation
Center, Burwood, VIC, Australia) :
Project Mentor : Wayne Harper
The project involves designing a next generation public safety network solution to
integrate live suspect integration, broadcast live video feeds to the cop's tablet or Smart
phone, Capturing video data from various fixed and movable locations by providing
redundancy with mesh network, designing a cloud network that support core redundancy
and backup. We were asked to take typical scenarios like riots, bush fires and analyze the
technological failures in particular situations. We focused on providing a machine critical
network replacing P25 standards by providing redundancy using mesh networks, live and
faster data and video feeds transfer to the end devices using Advanced-LTE, and also
focused on IPv6 multicasting and current operating systems that support IPv6 for the
better transmission and control. On the other hand we designed a redundant server pool
that supports whole communication effectively.
