Key Achievements:

 He has supported and solved many critical network problems for the
engineers during the installations of ATM and other accessories
especially the critical customers. Network mainly related to Protection
Firewall and TCP/IP Socket interface are key areas.

 He is a dependable person for the issues in the interface Software both in


SCO UNIX and Windows NT Work Station. Issues mainly in the ATM
transaction flow between the nodes and ATM. Many issues has been
handled and solved mainly related to Cash Discrepancy on the customer
transaction.
 With his understanding on the messaging formats, he has handled many
issues in the transaction flow and down line loads.

 With the understanding of multi media dispensing technology, he has


solved many cash discrepancy on the ATM.

 Because of this company always had an upper hand on the customer


whenever a problem on the Transaction flow or network related issues
arise. And these are taken as a mileage points with customer.

Responsibilities:

 Member of Technical Support Team supporting on


Diebold and NCR ATMs Hardware and Terminal
Software for Field Engineers on major problems.

 Testing of New products and Modules and escalation


of problems to Diebold US support centre.

 Terminal programming support on D912 and NDC +


Emulation to Terminal Driver Software vendors like
ACI Base 24, Oasis, Postilion, YCS etc.

 Customization of ATM Application software for


Offline/Branch Connectivity of ATMs.

 Installations and Support of Interface software for


Bank Server with respective to their Operating
System like SCO UNIX or Windows NT Workstation.
Using the Host messaging utility the interface is
developed. The Protocol mainly used is TCP/IP.

 Product support to Diebold marketing department

 Training the Fresh Engineers on Diebold Software,


New products and updates session to senior
engineers.
 Technical Documentation for the new products and
manual preparation for the Field Engineers.

 Presentation to Customers on new products.

As a Member of Technical Support Team some Important Projects handled:

Journal printer supply status:

The Journal printer of ATM was giving supplies low and out in a same passion.
The default setting is that the ATM will not give two separate statuses for supply
low and out. The Project was done to enable sending of two different messages.
So that the controller can distinguish between the status as warning and
alarming.

Bill processing Terminal:

The project handles new equipment like ATM that works in same messaging
format as ATM. The equipment mainly equipped with Cash acceptor and Bar
code reader, so as to work mainly as bill payment terminal. The testing is under
process.

Digital Video Recording:

The project is a security product in ATM terminal, where the movement in the
ATM user Lobby will be monitored with respect to the transaction done by the
ATM user. The movements of the ATM user is recorded as Digital data and it can
be retrieved by the Banker at any point of given time with the running transaction
number as a reference point of retrieval.

Railway ticket project:

The project is used to print the ticket for the train travelers. An external printer is
used to print the ticket. The messages received by the terminal from the
Controller will segregated otherwise customized locally inside the terminal to print
the data on the external printer.
Special Skill Sets acquired:

He is trained as trainer in OPTEVA terminals at Diebold Asia Pacific office, in


Bangkok, Thailand.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

He has worked as an Engineer with M/s. RUSTAGI SURGICAL PVT. LTD. from
February 1998 to April 1999. Handling the responsibility for Installation, Service
and maintenance of Bio medical Equipment mainly Haemodialysis machine
manufactured by Fresenius Medical Care, Germany.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

He is a Diploma in Electronics & Communication passed out in May 1997 with


Honours First class with Score of 83 %.
